ABOUT FAMILY DENTISTRY

Montevideo Family Dentistry had its humble beginnings when Dr. James Zenk returned to his hometown in 1981 to build a new facility at the East Acres complex.

Through a philosophy of preventive dental care, the practice grew and Dr. Keith Olson, originally from Ortonville, joined the practice in 1995.

As their partnership matured, Dr. Matt Vaughn, originally from Brookings, SD, was added in 2006.

In 2010, the practice expanded to the city of Granite Falls, providing full-time, concurrent sites to both communities.

Dr. Ashley Jo Patton returned home to begin practice in 2012.

As Dr. Zenk neared retirement, Dr. Olson, Dr. Vaughn and Dr. Patton became partners in 2017

Dr. Marissa Goplen, born in the Canby area, came to the practice in 2018.

The Montevideo site moved from East Acres to a new facility at Fiesta Town Square in 2019.
